SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM

In SCP, participants will work on their social and community participation self-determined goals in a group setting. Lead Assistant Goal Facilitators will primarily deliver this program under the guidance of the Goal Facilitators. This program focuses on learning independent skills to participate in and contribute to the community. As part of this program, young adults will be involved in volunteer opportunities, engage in planned community engagement opportunities, and learn skills such as exhibiting responsible citizenship, using recreational facilities, choosing and accessing transport, understanding their rights and responsibilities and learn independent living skills.
SCP is a one day a week program (per participant). You can access your NDIS Core funding to participate in this program.
